You may encounter an error message saying a local ubuntu avahi error. It turns out that there are several different ways to solve this problem, and we will return to this in a bit.
I definitely have an Ubuntu 16.04 based HTPC/Media server running 24/7. For as long as I can remember, using a professional Ubuntu distribution, I’ve always had problems with the Avahi daemon. Problem

The consequences are simple: after about 2-4 days of uptime, the network connection is lost and this is probably logged

It returns without problems when you go home, you reconnect the Ethernet connector yourself or with the help of software.
Possible Solutions

What I Did
The first solution didn’t work for me – the daemon works too, but the network will unsubscribe the same as before (to be fair, the RSS feeds say “Your mileage may vary.)
The second solution gives the impression that this daemon is running fine (nothing if critical, you look at all the logs), but iOS devices crash when you try to “see” the device as Print service or AirPlay destination (for example, tell the truth that iTunes is on my machine)
The third Windows solution is tricky because I’m not familiar with all the ins and outs of how the provider works; and; I’m not sure I really tried. Here’s what I mean: on my Asus router with Asuswrt-Merlin, I entered any settings in the /LAN/DHCP Server/Basic Configuration subcategory. There, I defined “RT-AC68U domain as name” “lan” (the domain name I know is recommended on the Internet, because the concept does not contradict anything, unlike “local”). So, as far as I know, what “move.local zone” means. If this is true, then this solution does not suit me either.

What should I do? I’ve been facing this problem for over two months and every answer on the web is related to one I’ve already tried. To be honest, I’m completely lost.Thanks in advance!
